Chaco Canyon - Vestiges of Evil

Chaco Canyon, located in northwest New Mexico, is perhaps the only site in the world constructed in an elaborate pattern that mirrors the yearly cycle of the sun and the 19-year cycle of the moon. How did an ancient civilization, with no known written language, arrange its buildings into a virtual celestial calendar, spanning an area roughly the size of Ireland? Why did the Anasazi, formerly assumed to be a society of simple and peaceable farmers, suddenly start constructing a major ceremonial center of occult and ritualistic significance only to abruptly abandon it 250 years later?

One bold anthropologist Christy Turner proposes in his book, co-written with wife and fellow anthropologist Jacqueline Turner, Man Corn: Cannibalism and Violence in the Prehistoric American Southwest a dark history no one wanted to consider. The evidence was all over Chaco Canyon and the surrounding area: many signs of prehistoric violence including homocide, cannibalism, dark witchcraft, human sacrifice and slavery. Remains of Macaws, depictions of feathered serpents and other artifacts from lands far to the south may not have been the result of trade but an invasion by corrupt elites from an advanced and powerful civilization coming from Mexico. The Turners conclude these were most likely Toltecs—precursors of the Aztecs. The Toltec empire in Mexico lasted from about A.D. 800 to 1100. It’s possible a heavily armed group of these “thugs” infiltrated into the southwestern part of the U.S. and found a suspicious but pliant population whom they terrorized into reproducing the theocratic lifestyle they had previously known in Mesoamerica. This involved heavy payments of tribute, constructing the Chaco system of great houses and roads, and providing victims for ceremonial sacrifice. The Toltec overlords achieved their objectives through the use of brutal warfare and terrifying cult ceremonies that included ritual sacrifice and cannibalism.

The Navajo have stories in their own oral history that reveal aspects of Chaco Canyon very different from the Anglo view. Elder Navajo say that Chaco was a place of hideous evil. The people there abused sacred ceremonies, practiced witchcraft and cannibalism, and made a dreaded substance called corpse powder by cooking and grinding up the flesh and bones of the dead. Their evil threw the world out of balance so they were destroyed in a great earthquake with powerful winds and fire brought on by Navajo magicians working in tandem with their Holy People.

Taos Hum, alien abductions and demonic activity at a Taos Ranch

Investigators from the Skinwalker Ranch team pay a visit to Taos to investigate a ranch where similar phenomenon were experienced.

The owner describes her disturbing experiences there starting just 3 days after moving in when she and her husband were abducted for the first time of what would be more to come. The initial abductions, paranormal activity and what seemed to be demonic attacks culminated in a succession of deaths on the ranch. First her dog died, a few months later their horse died, two months after that her husband died, the month following her cat died, and finally her remaining dog died. Immediately after burying the last of her ranch family, she called her son and fled the property, abandoning it completely. She speculates there may be a portal allowing entities to access the property. She is certain the presence is malevolent and has sought out the Skinwalker Ranch team for a scientific explanation.

The team is provided a tip from local Taos filmmaker Steve Priola whom they recruit as an advisor. Steve interviewed a longtime Taos resident who is among those who hears the mysterious Taos hum (not everyone does, some hear it moderately or occasional and others very clearly and regularly). Through a series of tests, the man interviewed by Steve confirmed the hum is at 55 Hz. As an experiment, the team decided to broadcast the 55 Hz “Taos Hum” frequency from their equipment that night to see what response they might get…

The Cattle Mutilation Report

I recently cleared out my storage unit and discovered a forgotten treasure. It was a weathered old suitcase labeled “Open Me”. It contained, among other odd things, a cattle mutilation report I’d sent to my mother who was an investigator with a local Sherriff’s office at the time. The cover letter was a faux “cease and desist” from the FBI demanding she put an end to my X-Files style investigations using her name and credentials. The report was just a prank but the images are real. They were taken in the four corners area on a reservation. I found the body very curiously lying outside of the fenced in area. It exhibited all the classic indications of a “cattle mutilation” including very specific body parts removed with laser precision and absolutely no signs of consumption by scavengers.

From Adam Janos’ History article The Mysterious History of Cattle Mutilations:

Between April and October of 1975, nearly 200 cases of cattle mutilation were reported in the state of Colorado alone. Far from being mere tabloid fodder, it had become a nationally recognized issue: That year, the Colorado Associated Press voted it the state’s number one story. Colorado’s then-senator Floyd Haskell asked the Federal Bureau of Investigation to get involved.

Throughout the 1970s, cases had continued to mount throughout the American heartland. And in 1979—after thousands of reported cattle mutilations, causing millions of dollars of livestock losses—the FBI finally opened an investigation into a series of cases that had reportedly taken place on New Mexico’s Indian lands. Pressure came, in part, from a heated public symposium on the subject that had been convened by that state’s science-minded U.S. senator, Harrison Schmitt, who had a Ph.D. in geology from Harvard and had walked on the moon as an Apollo 17 astronaut.

Look Up!

In more of my X-Files exploits, I photographed this pair not long after moving here a few years back. They seemed suspended there so I wondered at first if these were two very large planes flying in tandem directly towards me… but they were far too large and too brightly luminous for any known military much less standard commercial aircraft and they did not change their position at all for the 15+ minutes I’d observed them. It wasn’t long after this I happened to catch a report (on Linda Multon Howe’s “Earthfiles” program) that came from two men who were at a Taos golf course when they witnessed these craft on the same day as I had. Speculations about the origin of the craft came up around the “Tall Whites” that are said to have a base somewhere within the mountain. A Puebloan woman, friend of a neighbor, confirmed they have long been seeing craft coming from the mountain very near to the Taos Pueblo. Adding to the mysterious synchronicities, I would later encounter a very pale, very tall and very thin man on a mountain trail not far fro the Pueblo swiftly heading up the mountain. He seemed almost “wispy” in build and his hair was like tuft of pure white cotton candy. He did not say a word to me nor look my way, he just strode stealthily up the trail and was quickly out of sight. It struck me only later, could this very unusual looking man have been a “tall white”? 👀

INTERSTELLAR VISITOR

Don’t Look Up!

A social media handle claims this Japanese-released clip (above) shows the image supposedly taken of 3I/Atlas looking very much like a large craft. At the same time, NASA has quietly activated its planetary defense network in response to the approaching interstellar visitor known as 3I/ATLAS (C/2025 N1)… all while Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb asserts in his recent paper that the object may actually be an alien craft and a high-impact Black Swan event…

In light of all this, the black comedy Don’t Look Up may just as easily be a bit of predictive programming as it is satirical social commentary.
